We are currently seeking a Digital Media Analyst to be an essential part of our Ad Ops/Analytics Team at RPM Advertising, a full-service advertising agency in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of digital metrics; both from brand and response perspectives. This professional will work closely with media strategy, activation and account service leadership to develop performance objectives, measurement plans and reporting methodologies that support campaign and brand goals. He/she will produce basic reporting to the development of data-driven insights that will inform business decisions. The ability to clearly and eloquently present insights to agency and client leadership is a must.


  • Develop strategies and leverage technical infrastructure to obtain necessary datasets to deliver reporting and subsequent insights
  • Superior analytical skills, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications
  • Format and prepare weekly and monthly reports for clients. Reports would be in the form of tables, graphs, summaries, and powerpoint slides
  • Knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g.,DoubleClick/DART), site served analytics tools (e.g., Adobe or Google Analytics) and DSP’s (MediaMath, DataXu, The Trade Desk)
  • Present data on monthly and quarterly calls to clients reviewing metrics and optimizations
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating efforts across a variety of client verticals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey and package technical findings to internal and external personnel

  • BA in marketing, advertising or communications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an online marketing analyst, business analyst or equivalent, with direct response preferred
  • Advanced data manipulation skills in MS Excel
  • Experience with ad hoc querying, reporting and online analytic processing tools
  • Familiarity with SEM and SEO
